TruffleHunter’s Fresh Truffle Canapes


Preparation: 30 minutes  /  Cooking: 30 minutes


  • 1 tbsp TruffleHunter Black or White Truffle Oil
  • 25 grams of either White Winter or Black Winter Truffles,or 50 grams Black Autumn or Summer Truffles
  • 2 long and thin french baguettes
  • 50 grams Parmesan or Grana Padano
  • 50 grams unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Pinch of salt

  1. Using a fine cheese grater, grate half of the fresh Truffles and all the cheese into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the butter, Truffle oil, Olive oil and salt and mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
  3. Cut the bread into round slices, and toast on each side until lightly golden.
  4. While the bread is still warm, spread a thick layer of the Truffle mixture onto each slice.
  5. Finally shave the remaining Truffles over the canapes to finish.
